NMCA Recent Events

TRAINING CLINIC -  NMCA had very good attendance at the Driving Clinic on October 27.

It was held at Vista Sandia Equestrian Center.   Members in attendance were Jan Siegrist, Johanna Jimenez, Jeanette Meadows, Maxine and Dion Lear, Jim Wenzel, Martin and Alley Dalton-Baker, George and Vicki Warzeniak, Jerry and Vicki Badura, Nancy Spitzmueller, Debbie Villagomez, Sam and Sylvia Montoya, and Lowell and Gayle Clark.   Guests present were Jennifer Miller, Lilia Luman, Tracy Stuart, Judi Vil, Deb and Alan Platt, Donna Monsarret, Fran, Johnson, Elizabeth Moore, and Nicole Lopez.  Every seemed to enjoy it and came away with more knowledge and confidence in their horse and driving.  A big THANK YOU to the instructors and to Jan for reserving the facilities.   We will have more clinics next year.   And thanks for cleaning around the areas.

 

MISCELLANEOUS:   A friend of Colleen’s needs a harness.  Sam said he might have one.  This woman was at Rio Abaho Days and might be joining NMCA.

Jan Siegrist has a Welsh sized cart for sale.  She said it is a little wider than normal, but wooden with white leather and bicycle tires.  She is asking $600.00 for it.  You can phone Jan at 293-4148.

Alley is looking for a high-wheeled road or pleasure cart.   Her horse is 18 hands high. Call her at 281-9213.

Was such a beautiful autumn day for a drive.   There was also apple pressing, Sale of the cider and samples of cider and Johnny cakes.  Was so peaceful
